baboubalèg is an award-winning Ayisyen dancer, poet, and pornographer who graduated from Harvard with an A.B. in Economics. An economist-turned-surrealist, babou pumps out poetry across a number of mediums, including performance, film, and the written word.
A 2025 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Playwriting and a current Cave Canem Fellow, babou has had works installed at The Museum of Modern Art, exhibited at The Museum of Sex, published in The L.A. Review of Books, and endorsed by The New York Times. Striving towards decolonial rebirth, babou works alongside global movements for liberation.
